Think of the world as one huge platform with all sorts of information interchanging twenty-four-seven in all forms on an unimaginable magnitude. Millions upon millions of ideas in various media is continually exchanging across the globe. The world literally revolves on information. This is the one commodity that can be sourced and packaged and sold by anyone at a profit. This is where you and I come in.
In this information maze the challenge is how and where to position oneself. There are a number of aspects that influence the position to take in online information exchange. Here we consider only two.
Area of Expertise Almost any information can be packaged into a useful commodity for somebody somewhere. For example one could write about fishing, letter writing, how to win a sport, dating, personal development, this is just an example to show you that you are only limited by your imagination. You do well however to write on a topic you have some knowledge of. If you are writing articles it helps if you are the originator of the information. This does not in anyway restrict you from selling products you have limited knowledge of for which you can research. There are many affiliate programmes that offer thousands of articles and ebook packages that one could participate in and make very good profits.
Research Gone are the days of simply packaging what you felt like selling and then go about creating interest. Granted, you may succeed to a certain extent, but the thing to do is find out through research what people want and then give it to them. It makes your work simple, because you are meeting an existing need. I believe that just as supply and demand factors affect goods and products, information entrepreneurs need to be mindful of what information is in demand and package it to meet the demand.
