Internal vs External USB writer and Plextor review

So you want to buy a new optical drive to replace your worn-out internal CD writer. You know for a fact that there exists another type of an optical drive that goes by the name of external Writer or USB CD Writers. Then you ask yourself: why not buy the USB CD Writer?
